A new QoL (quality-of-life) update to is about to make building characters much easier thanks to how much it should affect players’ organization of materials. The action RPG by HoYoverse is reaching the end of Version 5.0, the first update in the Natlan story arc, and it will soon be followed by Version 5.1. There are many new pieces of planned content for the patch, including new Archon Quests to engage in, events, and the playable version of Xilonen – in fact, all of this was confirmed and highlighted during the 5.1 livestream.
When it comes to main story quests, players should continue assembling Mavuika’s roster of heroes to combat the menace presented by the Abyss, though it is uncertain exactly what will occur during the patch. Xilonen will also be presented as an NPC and playable character following her teaser – she will operate as a 5-star Geo support character, capable of debuffing enemies and even healing her allies. In addition to the new content, per si, the developer has announced a series of quality-of-life updates for older features, one of which could make building characters in a smoother process.
The multiple QoL updates were announced by HoYoverse in an official Developers Discussion post shared on HoYoLAB. This includes a skip feature for the Spiral Abyss, which should optimize players’ time within the activity, as long as they have progressed sufficiently during the past season. There are also some changes to the interfaces for Trounce Domains in the Adventurer Handbook. HoYoverse has also alerted players that they could potentially miss out on hundreds of free Primogems in 5.1 related to exploration progress within the first Natlan areas introduced with Version 5.0 back in August.
These Primogems can only be claimed by the end of Version 5.2 – after that, the bonuses will be removed from the game.
