Elden Ring was the best-selling title of June 2024 in the USA thanks to the release of its Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, but the real story of the month comes from Square Enix's weird and wonderful crossover series Kingdom Hearts. Following ports to Steam — previously exclusive to the Epic Games Store — the Kingdom Hearts: Integrum Masterpiece collection jumped an absurd 396 places to become the third best-selling of the month. The bundle brought all the Kingdom Hearts titles to the main PC platform, quite clearly after significant pent-up demand.
What helped to boost sales further was a 30 per cent discount the individual games and overall Integrum Masterpiece bundle launched with. Instead of the RRP of £84.99 / $99.99, the large collection was sold for £58.64 / $68.99 for two weeks.
Sandwiched in between Elden Ring and Kingdom Hearts was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which continues to sell with a new drop of content for the multiplayer mode and Warzone in Season 5. Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, the upgraded and expanded re-release of the former Nintendo Switch exclusive, was a new entry in fourth position.
Ghost of Tsushima, the previous month's best-selling game, slipped to 12th in June. Helldivers 2 also slipped a number of places into 11th, while the latest Gold Road DLC propelled The Elder Scrolls Online up 180 places into 18th position.
PS5 was once again the best-selling console in terms of both units shifted and dollar sales, with Nintendo Switch in second place for systems sold and Xbox Series X|S in second for dollar sales. Sony's handheld PS Portal device was again the best-selling accessory of the month, while the most bought controller was the PS5's Midnight Black design.
