During the GO All Out event there are several ways that you can add Grookey to your collection. The first is by encountering it in the wild on your travels. All three starter Pokémon, which are making their debuts during the event, will spawn more frequently than other Pokémon, so if you keep moving you are likely to find one. Grookey can also be found inside 5km eggs, so if you have any that you are currently working on, get walking to hatch them!
Only 5km eggs found during the GO All Out event have a chance of hatching a Grookey.
You can also find Grookey by completing event-themed Field Research tasks. These will be given to you at random when spinning PokeStops, but you can repeat them as many times as you want throughout the event. Finally, you will also be able to use Max Out Special Research with branching paths that will be available to all Trainers. For this, you will pick one of the Galarian starter Pokémon and will receive additional opportunities to catch Grookey if you select it.
