SEGA and developer Sports Interactive have announced Football Manager 25 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, and Android. It will officially launch on November 26, 2024. The game will have a slightly different title for each platform.
For those who are eager to snag this game, Football Manager 25 pre-orders are now available. Those who pre-order it for PC will get a 10% discount. At the moment, the console version's pre-orders are not open and will open up at a later date. For those who played Football Manager 2024, the save data from that game can be carried over to Football Manager 25.
Football Manager 25 is set to be a rule-breaker in the franchise. Players will be able to compete in the world's biggest league or try to accomplish new victories in Women's Football, which is a first for the franchise. Women's Football will seamlessly join the new game, with both having the same ecosystem.
Now that there are both men and women on the playing field, Football Manager 25 has more playable leagues and nations than ever, and features the biggest player database in football gaming.
This new iteration in the franchise has swapped over to the Unity Engine after previously using the match Engine for Football Manager 2024 and Football Manager 2023. In a previous statement regarding Football Manager 2024, Miles Jacobson stated that it'd be the "last of its kind," with many fans of the franchise speculating that the franchise was ending.
