Gamescom 2024 revealed a lot about the upcoming DLC and expansion, , but even more details have been uncovered throughout the various interviews that Bethesda staff gave at the event. I've been playing since its launch, and hands-down, one of the best aspects of the game for me was designing my own ship. Although it's possible to avoid space travel throughout the majority of a playthrough, blasting enemy spacers out of space with my overpowered design made me appreciate this under-utilized aspect of the game.
Even after getting (spoilers) the Starborn ship after completing my first playthrough, I still had the desire to build the most impressive ship I could, with the most expensive ship parts I could find across the Settled Systems. Believe it or not, compared to what I was able to build myself, the Starborn ship looks puny in comparison. And I'm not alone, with a big community that's already been built around creating some of the most iconic ships from sci-fi media.
Starfield has a pretty extensive universe filled with a ton of content, but there is some cut content that might have made the game even better.

Incorporating some adjustments that mod creators have already introduced could open a whole new world of possibilities for players.
