The launch of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League may have slipped off your radar. Well, time to pop it back on. The game will be getting a prequel series of comic books. Launching a few days later, those who pick them up will also receive cosmetic items to be used in the game.
Dubbed Suicide Squad: Kill Arkham Asylum (thanks, GamesRadar), the five-part series will detail how exactly Amanda Waller pieced together the team she needs to help her take down an evil Justice League. That presumably means the game will begin with that team already assembled, so if you want the build explaining how that happened, you'll need to wait a few days or backtrack after you've started Kill The Justice League.

The next DC game from Rocksteady has been delayed a number of times, but it seems the May 26, 2023, arrival is now pretty much cemented in place. Especially since DC has now confirmed its prequel comic series will now be available from May 30. There will be five in-game cosmetic items to collect through the series, codes for which will also be given to those who have annual or Ultra subscriptions to DC Universe Infinite.
The repeated delays combined with the crowded release schedule has resulted in the hype for Kill The Justice League's arrival being somewhat muted. That's despite it coming from the same studio as the critically acclaimed Arkham trilogy. It's also unclear whether the game takes place in the same universe as those games. It'll take a little lore tweaking for that to be achieved.
Mainly because Batman has been confirmed to be in the game and will be voiced by the late Kevin Conroy, the same actor who voiced The Dark Knight in the Arkham games.
