Issue #5 of Spider-Man Unlimited Infinity finally addresses where The Avengers are in Insomniac Games' Spider-Man universe, as well as acknowledging that it's basically just Spidey in that version of New York City.
Although Spider-Man, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Spider-Man 2 are self-contained Spidey adventures that don't delve too much into other Marvel superheroes, we know for certain that heroes like The Avengers, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, and Daredevil exist in the Insomniac Games universe thanks to landmarks dotted around New York City.

Even if we know that there are other superheroes out there, it's a little strange that Spider-Man never runs into any of them during the events of his games, especially considering some of the massive threats that face the city. Insomniac might not be ready to properly reference such A-list superheroes in its games, but the ongoing run of Spider-Man Unlimited Infinity does at least address the Hulk in the room.
As showcased by Twitter user ComicGirlAshley, Spider-Man Unlimited Infinty's fifth issue features 616 Spider-Man fighting and then teaming up with Peter Parker from the Insomniac Games universe (or multiverse, take your pick). Previous issues have already given us a look at how Insomniac's Peter is dealing with Aunt May's death and confirmed that he hasn't yet met Gwen Stacy.
