Spider-Man 2 creative director once again references Daredevil
Spider-Man 2 creative director Bryan Intihar has once again teased Daredevil, following an update that reinstated a reference to the Marvel character.
At the end of a Spider-Man 2 soundtrack listening party streamed by Insomniac, Intihar is heard saying “Where is Daredevil?” as the stream ends.
This comes just days after the latest update to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 reinstated a reference to the character which can be found in the game’s open world.

In the first game, a sign on a building in New York City read “Nelson & Murdock: Attorneys at Law,” a reference to Daredevil’s real name, Matt Murdock. Peter Parker also references Daredevil as part of the first game’s collectibles, confirming his existence in the Insomniac Spider-Man universe.
However, when the second game was released, the sign was missing. There was no explanation given for this, especially as the majority of other Marvel references remained intact.
Now, Insomniac this week released an update that restored the sign. Intihar referenced the change on Twitter writing “Guess they paid their rent…”

Last month, Intihar confirmed that Insomniac’sSpider-Man games take place in the same universe as its upcoming Wolverine game.
Speaking on Kinda Funny Games, Intihar said, “they’re all 1048.” when asked by host Greg Miller if the upcoming Wolverine game and the current Spider-Man titles exist in the same version of the Marvel universe.
1048 refers to the revision of the Marvel universe that they share.
