Like the first, features a vast array of villains and several exceptional bosses; however, not all of the interactions with bosses are equal in excitement, fun, or difficulty, some of the game's boss battles are far more challenging than others. Though each boss battle in presents a unique set of challenges, a few of these fights will push the player's ability to its very limits.

Bringing together Peter Parker and Miles Morales, sees the pair take on a plethora of the most powerful villains from the expansive lore of the franchise — including the most universally recognized Spider-Man antagonist, the amorphous sentient alien symbiote, Venom. While the game is exceptional in many respects, one of the most brilliant aspects of is the enemies, particularly the devilishly difficult bosses — all of whom pose an enormous threat to Peter, Miles, and the many inhabitants of New York City.
Sandman is arguably one of the most well-known antagonists from the franchise, an impressive feat considering the illustrious roster of villainous figures to have featured in the franchise's countless comics, movies, and games. Though this supervillain makes a return as a boss battle in, he is undeniably the easiest boss in the game. The game's tutorial boss fight, the Sandman, is the first major test to face the player in. Though relatively easy, this is still a thoroughly enjoyable battle and an excellent opportunity for the player to test out their abilities.
