Spider-Man 2's latest patch has removed a boundary break glitch that was allowing players to take Venom out of his scripted mission and explore New York City.
Just like every Spider-Man fan was hoping would be the case before launch, Spider-Man 2 lets you play as Venom in a brutal sequence towards the end of the game. Spider-Man 2 players had a lot of fun with that glitch and, after two updates that seemingly ignored it completely, it looked like it was sticking around. That sadly isn't the case, however, as the most recent patch for Spider-Man 2, Patch 1.001.005, not only makes another attempt to kill off Spider-Man turning into a white cube, but it also removes the boundary break entirely.
