Larian Studios had a hell of a night at 2023’s The Game Awards, notching six wins for Baldur’s Gate 3, including Game of the Year. Larian Studios announced that they were committed to getting Baldur's Gate 3 onto the Xbox platform before the end of the year, but never locked in a precise date, making last night's shadow drop a pleasant surprise for Xbox fans everywhere.
Unfortunately, Baldur's Gate 3 wasn't added to Xbox Game Pass as part of the shadow drop, so fans will have to open up their wallets to jump into the 100+ hour RPG, but we'd definitely consider it to be money well spent.
Baldur's Gate 3 is now available on the PlayStation 5, Windows, macOS, and yes, finally Xbox Series X|S platforms.
