Streamer Luality is no stranger to challenge runs. She's played Elden Ring with both a dance mat and full body motion controls, so it's no surprise to see that she's out here making Baldur's Gate 3's notoriously difficult Honour Mode even harder than it needs to be. This now includes playing with a randomiser mod, and the results are horrifying.
Whether it's Scratch turning into a dragon or Tara becoming a headless tiefling, the randomiser mod is full of surprises at every turn. Even worse, it's being used in Honour Mode, which only allows for a single save file at a time. So, if you get unlucky with the randomiser, it's game over.
You can check out Luality's full streams to see more of the randomiser in action, but it doesn't get much more horrifying than Tara's introduction to camp. Here, the tressym looks nothing like a winged cat, instead appearing as a tiefling lady who doesn't have great control over her limbs. In fact, when Gale goes to pet Tara, her head comes off and her body distorts in a way that can't be comfortable.
This isn't the only pet-related mishap introduced by the randomiser. Elsewhere, Scratch became a dragon. Not sure I'd want to risk playing fetch with him.
If you want to get in on the fun, you can download this combat randomiser from Nexus Mods. Not only does it mix up enemy stats and the items they drop, but it can also swap them out for different characters entirely. In Luality's case, she finds herself up against a (very nerfed) Ketheric early on in Act 1. He got bored of waiting around in Moonrise Towers, I guess.
If you do decide to tackle Honour Mode with a randomiser installed, make sure you also pick up this mod that re-enables achievements too. It would be beyond painful to beat this
