Total sales for open-world survival crafting game Palworld have surpassed seven million units in only five days after its Early Access launch, developer Pocket Pair announced. (Update 1:40 a.m.: According to Geoff Keighley, Pocket Pair has confirmed that these sales numbers are Steam only, and do not include Xbox, Microsoft Store for PC, or Game Pass numbers.)
Palworld also surpassed an all-time peak of 1,864,421 concurrent players on Steam, making it the second highest peak ever achieved on the platform, just behind PUBG: Battlegrounds at 3,257,248 concurrent players.
Palworld launched for Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store on January 19, and sold one million units in eight hours, two million units in 24 hours, three million units in 40 hours, four million units in about three days, five million units in three days, and six million units in four days. It is also available via Xbox Game Pass.
