Liam grew up with a PlayStation controller in his hands and a love for Metal Gear Solid. Nowadays, he's found playing the latest and greatest PS5 games as well as supporting Derby County. That last detail is his downfall.

As a person who has yet to play Astro Bot, did it really deserve GOTY over the others? I haven't played an Astro game since the PS4 early days when they had the bots to explore the abilities of the DS4.

Helldivers 2 I am glad took home their awards. The game beat out even Fortnite for best ongoing game and I didn't expect that to happen.

Astro totally deserved the award. It’s not even my personal pick, but it did the right things for gaming this year. A pure positive experience in a difficult year for gaming.
