The latest plush is set to go on sale later this week, this time bringing the popular bipedal Gardevoir to homes. Over the past several years, The Pokémon Company has released a series of life-sized plushes, giving popular Pokémon like Slowpoke, Arcanine, and Lucario the chance to play a large role in people's homes. These jumbo-sized plushes have proven to be unexpectedly popular, although they typically have a very large price tag compared to other Pokémon plushes.
This week, The Pokémon Company revealed that Gardevoir will be the latest Pokémon to receive the life-size plush treatment. The new plush stands about five feet tall and weighs about 5 kilograms (or about 11 pounds). The new plush matches the height of Gardevoir in the official Pokédex, although its weight is understandably smaller. Based on the reported length of the new Gardevoir plush, this would be the tallest Pokémon plush ever released.
According to PokeShopper, the brand-new Gardevoir plush will go on sale next week. Assumably, the plush will go on sale in both Japan and internationally, although no specific details have been announced for non-Japanese prices and release dates. The plush will have a retail price of 49,500, which comes out to about $320 in US dollars. Previous life-sized plushes sold in the US have had a retail price between $420 — $499, so US fans can probably expect a markup if/when the plush is released in the US at some point.
Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket is looking into ways to improve its trading feature due to fan complaints after its rollout this week.

The plush also looks to have poseable arms and legs, similar to the life-sized Lucario released back in
