Epic Games have officially launched the OG Chapter 1 Season 2 event, which will see the return of the iconic map and points of interest from 2017-2018. A host of nostalgic features will be available in the gamemode between January 31 to March 25, along with a dedicated OG Battle Pass with vintage Outfits.
The second iteration of the OG event comes after the huge popularity of its first addition at the end of 2023, with millions of players logging in to experience the origins of the battle royale sensation. In addition to the Boogie Bomb, the loot availability has been expanded for the new OG event, with classic items like the Small Shield Potion and the Multi-Surface Damage Trap being added immediately from January 31. As the season progresses, various other vintage gear will be reintroduced, like the aforementioned Boogie Bomb, the Cozy Campfire, Chug Jug, Minigun, Impulse Grenade, and Crossbow, which will all aim to enrich the original gameplay experience of in contrast with the modern mechanics.
