An unofficial Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC port is currently in the works, and it's already running great in its very early version.
As reported today by PC_Focus on X/Twitter, modders are reverse-engineering the PC dev build of the game leaked last week to develop an unofficial PC port which is already running at 60 FPS, although without textures and interface elements. While it is obviously full of glitches right now, what these developers have already accomplished with this unofficial port is extremely impressive.
While a release window has yet to be confirmed, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is coming to PC at some point. According to information leaked online last month, the development of this port will end this Fiscal Year, meaning that it will be released sometime after April. In addition, this is setting out to be Insomniac's most expensive port to date, so it will be interesting to see how much it will improve the PlayStation 5 release, which is already an impressive game, as highlighted by Alessio in his review.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is now available on PlayStation 5. We will keep you updated on the PC port as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
