@kyleforrester87 The knife was hugely useful in the OG release. The enemies are already tougher to compensate for the improved controls, so it's a shame the sturdy weapon from the original was nerfed so badly.
@Pizzamorg Whoops, there is in fact an option for Gyro aiming, but ultimately it's kind of, well, just ok after maxing a couple of aiming speed sliders. I went back to analog stick aiming.

Is it true like they were saying in the comments that gyro aiming means you can't move while aiming?
@Pizzamorg I can't remember. I need to zip through the demo again to be sure. Regardless, the camera speed when shifting from left to right with the right analog stick, when using Gyro aiming in tandem, becomes absurdly fast. That, in combination with the Gyro aiming itself makes it awkward and a little finicky to use. I was struggling.
Plus, you can't use the right stick to aim in any direction other than left or right when using gyro. The Hybrid analog + Gyro aiming scheme feels kind of botched as a result. Maybe there's more to it, or I'm doing something wrong...I don't know. As is, Metroid Prime Remastered on Switch nailed the Gyro aiming. they're an easy 10/10.
One of the finest examples of Gyro, when using Twin Stick(Plus Gyro aiming), while bumping up the aiming speed a few notches. But back to RE4R...Ugh, i wish the main campaign was available in VR, so it would allow that incredible 1:1 motion aiming. I'm so used to it in RE8 VR, that going back to a thumb stick feels like I'm blasting back to
