Teammates going down isn't uncommon in Destiny 2, and while invisibility is typically a go-to strategy when reviving other Guardians, one player is seemingly punished by the game for using the void ability during a critical moment in the Lightfall campaign. Though not a class-specific feature, invisibility tends to be utilized by Hunters in Destiny 2, which helps the class to stand out when compared to some of the other types of Guardians in the game.
The three Light subclasses within Destiny 2were each given an in-depth makeover throughout the course of 2022, a whole five years after the game was first released. Though the subclass 3.0 system had a lot to deliver, it hasn't been without its issues — from unintended bugs to grossly overpowered abilities, the subclass overhaul seems to have provided a learning experience for both player and developer. Though the dust mostly seems to have settled for the subclass 3.0 system by now, the game has more recently seen a whole new set of abilities in the form of Strand, and fans have already found many new ways of exploiting and combining the new powers it provides.
