A keen-eyed Destiny 2 player has discovered that the combatants present in Neomuna's Patrols are much harder to kill than the enemies encountered in Master difficulty Raids, raising concerns over the challenge curve that has slowly become a hot topic of conversation in the community. Since the launch of Lightfall, players have expressed their surprise over the difficulty of Neomuna's open-world activities, noting how reaching the Pinnacle Power Cap for Destiny 2's Season 20 doesn't reduce the lethality of enemies nor reduce the time-to-kill against said enemies.
The conversation around the difficulty in Destiny 2 has been a longstanding one, with the developers and players rarely seeing eye-to-eye on the matter. During The Witch Queen era, Bungie decided to experiment with the challenge by introducing a Legendary version of the campaign, tweaking the various aspects of the missions such as fireteam-based scaling of enemy health, restrictive respawns, fixed light levels, and much more. The new difficulty was met with much positivity, prompting Bungie to release a Legendary version of Lightfall's campaign. The same cannot be said about the rest of Lightfall, as the decision to revamp the difficulty in Destiny 2 hasn't worked as per the expectations of the developers.
