Last year, Blizzard revealed during the Diablo IV Quarterly Blog Update that spells and abilities in Diablo IV would have dynamic visual effects, leveling up with the player. However, eagle-eyed and eager players noticed that these effects weren't on display during Early Access and Open Beta weekends, and many posed the question — did this feature get cut? Thankfully, Diablo IV Associate Art Director Daniel Briggs confirmed on Twitter that these dynamic visual effects will absolutely be in the released game, and explained a bit on how to trigger them! The comment thread on this Tweet is enlightening — Briggs explains that several different factors can modify a skill, both on and off the skill tree: This news isn't the only exciting visual effect for skills, however — Druids have their own wild take on things!
