The timing of the reveal also matches up with both E3 and Summer Games Fest, which are scheduled to take place in June, so more information about the expansion could be revealed there. However, E3's current status is uncertain as other companies like SEGA, Tencent, and Ubisoft have confirmed that they will not be attending.
The Phantom Liberty expansion is set to launch sometime later in 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. In the meantime, Cyberpunk 2077 will receive other updates, including path tracing on April 11.
