A fan of Pokemon has drawn an adorable piece of fan art imagining what the Paldean variants of Clodsire and Wooper would look like in the style of Paper Mario. While some fans come up with hypothetical regional variants of Pokemonthat have not returned in Gen 9, others take variants already in the newest games and imagine how they would look in a different game to interesting effect.
Although it has never been the most popular series published by Nintendo, Paper Mario has still garnered a devoted community in part because of the charm earlier titles seeped as well as its unique art style for many characters from Super Mario Bros., which has them and their world look like it was crafted by paper. There has not been a new game in the series since Paper Mario: The Origami King in 2020, but that does not mean fans of it and other properties will take inspiration from it and use it towards other projects.
Pokemon Fan Art Turns Lycanroc and Dodrio Into Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner
One such fan goes by TimDrawsStuff on Reddit, and they created an adorable piece of Pokemon fan art that takes the Paldean variants of Clodsire and Wooper and converts them to resemble characters from the Paper Mario series. While it is a simple style, the two Pokemon are not only recognizable from their source material, but are also animated with a fun little jiggle that makes them even more adorable to look at.
This is not the first time TimDrawsStuff has posted a piece like this, having created a similar animation for Pokemon's Nacil evolutionary line.
