In the art piece, Lugia is seen almost on all fours, with distinct spikes and sharp fins on significant points over its body. The artist had decided to call their version of the legendary, «Lugia, Silver Tempest.» According to the artist, they were inspired by the Pokemon TCG set that was specifically made to feature Lugia. They said that it seemed to match the artwork perfectly, and thought that it was too cool to pass on.
