Those blue medallions have been strung up around the castle by those crazy zealots! They're a damn eyesore! Someone get them out of my sight!
There are 6 Blue Medallions to destroy at the Castle Gate. Much like the previous two Blue Request Notes in the same vein, you'll need to find and shoot them all to have them register. For this particular Blue Request Note, you'll likely spot the Blue Medallions before you actually pick up the quest. You'll need to destroy the gate blocking the way forward before activating it. With the enemies dead, you can return to the Castle Gate and destroy the Blue Medallions.
Below you'll find out How to Destroy the Blue Medallions 3, with descriptions and images to help you locate all six of them. Afterwards, return to the Merchant to collect your Reward.
Return to the bottom of the winding staircase that leads up to the Castle Gate area and look down into the chasm on your right. Blue Medallion #1 is hanging off a tree down there.
Head back to the Castle Gate and go to the place where you raised the cannon. In the back is Blue Medallion #2 in a window.
From Blue Medallion #2, drop down into the room below and look up to spot Blue Medallion #3 hanging from the roof.
Exit from where you found Blue Medallion #3 and climb up the ladder. Follow the path to the end and you'll find the next Blue Medallion.
As soon as you've shot Blue Medallion #4, look up and to your right to spot Blue Medallion #5.
After destroying Blue Medallion #5, go through
