Hunt the Night is an excellent-looking action RPG which puts us in mind of old-school Zelda, Hyper Light Drifter, and The Witcher, of all things (although that might just be the light hair, ponytail, and monster slaying aspect).
In a trailer showing off dungeon and overworld gameplay, we see protagonist Vesper exploring the wilds, solving puzzles and dispatching foes with a veritable arsenal of weaponry. The action looks smooth and responsive, and the pixel art is just gorgeous.
While we don't yet have a console release date, Hunt the Night is out on PC on 13th April, with a PlayStation date set to follow. Hey, it's not Breath of the Wild, but it could do in a pinch. Take that with you to the comments section below, and remember, it's dangerous to go alone.
