Publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Deck 13 have announced a delay for their upcoming action RPG, Atlas Fallen. This comes shortly after a successful public showing, with the first gameplay unveiled as well as new screenshots and previews.
The game looks pretty promising, but the team wants to give it a little more time in the oven. The game, planned for launch 16th May, will now arrive on 10th August. In a statement on social media, Deck 13 has made the delay to «give the game some extra time which will allow us to deliver the best possible version of Atlas Fallen».
In the meantime, the studio plans to show more of the game in «early summer», including «new gameplay footage and your first look at drop-in co-op gameplay». Additionally, Atlas Fallen will launch with a German audio option as well as English.
Delays are largely accepted as a good thing these days, and the game already looks pretty good, so we have high hopes this will deliver. Are you excited for this one? Fall into the comments section below.
