A creative and artistically talented Pokemonfan is quickly racking up the likes for their impressive fusion fan art which combines the unlikely pair of Togepi and Minior into one creature. The Pokemon fandom unquestionably dominates pop culture in terms of fan-produced art, regularly churning out impressive pieces. The same can be said for this particular piece of art, which expertly combines two otherwise unrelated Pokemon into one cleverly cohesive creature.
For those that may be unaware, Minior is a dual-type Rock/Flying Pokemon first introduced in Pokemon's seventh generation. Although it isn't known to evolve into or from any other Pokemon, Minior can change form in battle: a Meteor Form when above 50% health, and a Core Form when below. Togepi on the other hand is much more recognizable, with the Pokemon having been around since the second generation. The Pokemon is also featured in the anime earlier days, with Misty's Togepi a classic component of the series.
Pokemon Snorlax and Togepi Squishmallows Revealed
The impressive piece of Togepi and Minior fusion art is created by Reddit user u/Theprinceofarendelle, who posted their work to one of the site's major Pokemon forums. While the original forms of each Pokemon vary greatly in appearance, the artist manages to cleverly combine them into one, making use of Minior's multiple forms. The breakable Meteor Form is used as Togepi's eggshell, while the Core Form is used to inform the look of Togepi's actual body, being a radiant pink instead of its neutral cream coloring. The result is a well-balanced drawing representing both Pokemon equally.
