Microsoft has revealed two new colours for its range of Xbox Elite Series 2 wireless controllers.
Vibrant Red and Blue versions of the controller are now available to pre-order for $139.99 / £124.99, ahead of their launch on April 11.
Like the white model released last September, the new colours are being sold under the full name ‘Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 – Core’.
These products are similar to the original black Elite Series 2 controller but come with fewer accessories and so are cheaper to buy.
Players can separately purchase a ‘Complete Component Pack’ for $59.99 / £49.99 if they want the other accessories, including the carrying case and charging dock.
Xbox Elite Series 2 pads are also available via the Xbox Design Lab site, which lets players customise their own controllers.
An Xbox Series X Diablo 4 Edition console seemingly leaked today ahead of an official announcement from Microsoft.
According to a reliable dataminer, the special edition console will launch alongside Blizzard’s game in June priced at $559.99.
Meanwhile, Japan’s competition regulator has concluded that it has no issue with Microsoft‘s proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard, and will not be blocking the $69 billion deal.
