Every update in the game has its beta phase that contains most of the upcoming content including new regions, events, characters, or weapons. A new post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit shows that players will come across a mysterious door that leads to the Khaenri'ah region in the next update. The Kingdom o Khaenri'ah is one of the few regions in the game that's not under the purview of the seven Genshin Impact Archons. A historical event referred to as «The Cataclysm» took place in this region 500 years before the current timeline. The Abyss Order, one of the main antagonist factions, belongs to this region. Its members are usually mysterious, but extremely powerful Genshin Impact monsters that have various elemental powers. One of the most popular NPCs named Dainsleif also belongs to this region, and he's confirmed to join the playable roster in the future. He made an appearance in the main quest line of the ongoing Genshin Impact version 3.5.
