What are all game completion Rank requirements in Resident Evil 4? At the end of every playthrough, the game awards you a Rank based on how long it took you to beat it. The faster you are, the better your Rank. If you do well enough, you could unlock Trophies and new Weapons. As part of our Resident Evil 4 Remake guide, we're going to reveal all game completion Rank requirements.

For most Ranks in the game — such as B, A, and S — the only requirement is completing the game in under a certain time. Generally, as you increase the difficulty, the less time you'll have to obtain a Rank. For example, if you want to achieve an A Rank, you'll need to finish the game two hours faster on Hardcore compared to Standard. You can use New Game+ to make things much easier and carry over all your gear from a previous playthrough too.

That is except for the S+ Rank. To achieve an S+ Rank on any of the four difficulty modes, you must start a fresh save and complete the game without any gear carried over from a New Game+ run. In addition, if you want an S+ Rank on Professional, you can only save the game a maximum of 15 times.
