While it was a big deal at the beginning of the PS4 and PS Vita’s lifecycles, we noted in a recent article how Remote Play feels like one of the PS5’s forgotten features. Right on time, though, Sony has released a glossy ad which focuses on its new-gen console’s ability to stream to different screens. The focus here is on tablets and smartphones, as well as the recently released Backbone One.
However, if you are having issues with the official app – and you’re certainly not alone – we do recommend you check out our thoughts on an alternative, independent Android option which works flawlessly. We’ve been playing a ton of PS5 using it with our Retroid Pocket 3+, and the experience is so good you can even play action-heavy games, like God of War Ragnarok and Genshin Impact:
