An avid Skyrim fan has created a GeoGuessr map based on Bethesda's game world. Exploration is one of the core components of Skyrim's gameplay, and this creation gives players a brand-new way to take part in it outside the game.
Skyrim features one of the most influential open worlds of all time, with many modern RPGs still using it as the gold standard for level of detail. With the game still being played by many players to this day, the land of Skyrim has become second nature to many gamers, to the point where some players are modding in new areas to explore. That initial feeling of exploration that gamers felt while first exploring Skyrim is a big part of the reason why the game remains so popular, as players look to recapture the magic they felt over 11 years ago when it was first released.

The GeoGuessr Skyrim map was created by Redditor TheEdenChild, who claimed that their map features over 6000 locations from the game for players to try and locate. It even supports multiplayer, so players can discover Skyrim's sights with a friend. Similar to Geoguessr, players are able to move around the map as part of the experience. This could be perfect for any player who wants to explore, without having to deal with the many dangerous animals found in Skyrim. The game can currently be played at their website, lostgamer.io.
