With the game now over two years old, the amount of post-launch support and DLC Assassin's Creed Valhalla has received has been unusual for the franchise. Previously, the games had mostly been released on a one-year schedule, meaning that support was dropped as soon as the next release came out. Ubisoft has been taking its time with the next iteration of Assassin's Creed, so it makes sense that it would keep the old game alive as long as possible.

The addition to the game was noticed by Redditor Alert_Chart, who posted that they'd receive a Rabbid head as a cosmetic to use in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. The Rabbids are another key franchise for Ubisoft, so it's fun to see them cross over, even as a joke. The update comes completely free to the game, so players won't have to pay to get their hands on this either. It was presumed that Assassin's Creed Valhalla has had its final update, but it seems that Ubisoft isn't done yet, even with Assassin's Creed Mirage on the way later this year.
