Sony Interactive Entertainment has begun rolling out the first of April 2023’s PlayStation Plus games.
This month’s PlayStation Plus Essential games are Sackboy A Big Adventure (PS5 / PS4), Meet Your Maker (PS5 / PS4) and Tails of Iron (PS5 / PS4).
These titles, which are now available to subscribers in some regions ahead of their release elsewhere later today, can be claimed until May 1.
Essential is the entry-level PlayStation Plus membership tier, which offers subscribers access to a few ‘free’ games every month.
Players can continue to play these games even after they’re no longer available to claim at the end of the monthly period if they continue to subscribe to PlayStation Plus Essential (or a higher tier).
Once their membership ends, they’ll no longer be able to play these games unless they resubscribe.
Last month’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalog titles, which are reserved for Extra and Premium tier subscribers, included Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection, Ghostwire: Tokyo and Street Fighter V.
Sony has announced that the PlayStation Plus Collection will be pulled in May. Launched in 2020, the collection includes 19 PS4 games which PlayStation Plus subscribers can claim and play on PS5 at no extra charge.
On Sunday, UK retailers discounted PS5 God of War Ragnarök console bundles by £40 as part of a limited time promotions.
The UK deals coincide with recently launched US offers which have seen retailers cut the price of PS5 console bundles by $50.
Sony announced on Monday that accessibility tags for PlayStation Store game listings on PS5 will be rolled out globally this week.
