God of War Ragnarok didn't launch with New Game+ but Santa Monica Studio didn't disappoint when it added the mode in a recent update. Far from it in fact, with the amount of new additions that come along with New Game+ all contributing to what is a substantial add-on while it's all free of course.
The NG+ update adds multiple new armour sets, an expanded sparring arena, new perks, harder bosses, and an increased level cap. In NG+ players will find that the toughest enemies will now have a higher level cap, but the game balances this out by buffing Kratos' max level too, with your gear and stats capable of going beyond level nine. For converting your gear into stronger NG+ versions the game will give you Gilded Coins that can be spent at the Huldra brothers' shop for better enchantments too.

It is the removal of the level cap that players have been testing out early, among other things. Over on the GodOfWarRagnarok subreddit, one player has demonstrated what is possible with a build that takes Kratos' strength to over a 1000. Now that is one strong Greek god alright.
Demonstrating their Kratos build with a couple of screenshots taken from the armour page of God of War Ragnarok, it shows the angry Spartan with a strength of 1003 while defence is at 516. Clearly this is a build that prioritises brute muscle, attack, and most likely an aggressive play style. With more than a thousand strength, it'd be great to see this maxed out Kratos facing off against some Hel-Walkers.
