New Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Redeemed DLC footage was shared online, providing a new look at some of the features of the expansion, such as new combat options, classes, and more.
The new footage, which was compiled together on YouTube by Perfectly Nintendo, showcases battle roles, Ouroboros Power, devastating Unity Combos, multiple classes, including Shulk's Monado Fencer class, and a brand new region. You can check out the footage below.
We have known that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 would be getting a big story expansion for some time, and the first look at it came earlier this year with a tease that showed the main characters from the first two entries in the series ready to fight against a rather familiar face from the original Xenoblade Chronicles. The long silence since the first reveal was broken yesterday when Nintendo announced with an intense trailer that the Future Redeemed expansion will release next week, on April 25th. Just like for all the DLC released so far, which added new features such as Challenge Mode and new Heroes and thus new classes, the big story expansion will only be available as part of the Expansion Pack.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 launched last year worldwide on Nintendo Switch to critical and commercial acclaim. Commercial success for the series by Monolith was far from being taken for granted back when it began, as getting the first entry in the series to release in North America required fans to band together and launch Operation Rainfall to show Nintendo there was strong demand for the game.
