Tango Gameworks recently announced that the critically acclaimed action-adventure game Ghostwire: Tokyo will join the Xbox Series consoles. And now, players will be able to experience the supernatural journey alongside PlayStation and PC players. Additionally, the game will receive a new update that will bring many additions to the main story campaign, including a new game mode with a massive gauntlet challenge that will test players' skills as they put their supernatural skills to their limits.
First, let's get the big news out of the way. Ghostwire: Tokyo will now be available on Xbox Series X|S, and players can access the game through Xbox Game Pass. The Xbox version of Ghostwire: Tokyo will include every update made to the game since its original release, meaning that Xbox players will be able to fully experience the game without any issues.

A new mode is also going to be available for Ghostwire: Tokyo through the newly released Spider's Thread Update. This new update adds new locations to visit in the ghost-riddled streets of supernatural Tokyo, including the eerie Middle School area. There’s something ominous in session inside those classrooms. The game will also have a “Reduced Horror Effects” setting for more squeamish players which will replace certain psychic effects with adorable stickers.
Additionally, Ghostwire: Tokyo players will face a new kind of challenge in the titular Spider's Thread mode. This new mode which is separate from the main game will let players push through a 30-stage gauntlet assembled from over 130 handcrafted levels with the goal of reaching the end.
