After Valiant Hearts: Coming Home kicked off the partnership between Netflix and Ubisoft earlier this year, the second game of the three-game agreement, Mighty Quest Rogue Palace, has launched today on the streaming service's mobile app for both iOS and Android.
Mighty Quest is a roguelite dungeon crawler where players can choose from over 20 characters in the Mighty Quest For Epic Loot universe and use them to dive through dungeons, defeat hordes of enemies, and collect weapons, armor, and upgrades for future runs.
Each run consists of 15 procedurally generated zones affected by a purple substance known only as «the void.» Players will encounter unique monsters and bosses generated by this affliction, with special drops earned for defeating the big bads throughout a run.
In a recent media briefing, Netflix confirmed they have over 100 games in active development for the service, with 40 of those games slated to be released in 2023. Over a dozen of those games are being developed in-house, a list which includes a brand-new title fronted by former 343 Industries boss Joseph Staten.
Netflix Games is available to all Netflix subscribers via the mobile apps for both smartphones and tablets. The full list of games currently available can be found here.
