For over 20 years RuneScape has continued to grow and expand in both content and fanbase. From Jagex, this action-packed MMORPG is one of the world’s longest-running online games. And with good reason. RuneScape eases you into the world through a tutorial, and then lets you set off on your own adventure. Complete unique and engaging quests while honing your combat skills as you travel around Gielinor. So, how does RuneScape keep staying relevant? With regular, entertaining updates. The newest update, called Fort Forinthry: Unwelcome Guests, launches on April 10th, but only for members. You need to complete the New Foundations and Murder on the Border quests and have level 10 Slayer and 50 Construction skills before playing.
The Fort is threatened by an undead army brought to life by the evil necromancer Zemouregal. You need to team up with the new Slayer Master, The Raptor, to beat back the horde and figure out how to stop them. This update presents new slayer creatures such as Bound Skeleton and Risen Ghost. Defeating them will earn Slayer Trophies which further earns buffs and other prizes. Plus, there’s a new mini-quest, Slayer Challenge and skilling rewards. Not only that, players having a Construction skill will greatly help keep the story going. With this skill, build a Guardhouse to enhance the Slyer skill to earn more damage bonuses. Visit the RuneScape website for more information on the event. As this game has crossplay, you can access it on PC, Steam and iOS in addition to Android.
