iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max Cannot Be Powered Off, Or Force Restarted With Volume Buttons, New ‘Action’ Button To Perform That Function
The solid-state buttons are said to debut with the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, bringing increased functionality to both flagships. Previously, iPhone 14 owners could power off or force restart their handset by holding down the side button and any of the volume buttons. Now, this entire function could be replaced by a single ‘Action’ button, according to one tipster.
The muscle memory of iPhone users will need some tweaking because, according to ‘941’ on Twitter, the introduction of the ‘Action’ button and the power button will now perform the aforementioned function on the upcoming ‘Pro’ iPhone models. The tipster states that the sequence will remain the same, but the combination will be different. Additionally, this Action button will change the way you take pictures using the iPhone’s Camera app.
