The highly anticipated upcoming will feature the usage of the f-word, as well as some familiar faces, according to director James Gunn.
Taking to Twitter following the release of the latest clip from the superhero movie, Gunn was asked about a scene where Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord curses at Karen Gillan. In the scene, Star-Lord’s swear is bleeped out, but according to Gunn, it won’t be censored in the movie since PG-13 films can have one swear word in them.
“You can only have one in a PG-13 movie,” Gunn explained of the movie’s f-word usage. “That said, it wasn’t planned. I told Chris to add it on set, and it just made the moment funnier, so we kept.”

In a separate tweet, another fan shared a photo of the Ravagers — a group that appeared in and was led by Sylvester Stallone’s Stakar Ogord — and asked if we’d see them again. Gunn confirmed that fans would see “some of them” again in the upcoming movie, and due to recent trailers and TV spots, we know at least Stallone will be in the film in some capacity.
