Microsoft has announced the first wave of the new Xbox Game Pass games coming to the service this month.
We already knew as much, but Tango Gameworks' Ghostwire Tokyo will be joining the service next week on April 12. On this day, the game will launch alongside the new major Spider’s Thread update (also on PlayStation and PC), which introduces new enemies with new skills, new areas, and the new Spider's Thread game mode. This mode has players navigate a 30-stage gauntlet selected from over 120 hand-crafted levels.
Available as of today Loop Hero for both Xbox consoles and PC. Published by Devolver Digital, this endless RPG from Russian studio Four Quarters allows players to wield an expanding deck of mystical cards to place enemies, buildings, and terrain along each unique expedition loop for the brave hero. Interestingly enough, last year, the Russian developer encouraged users to pirate the game in response to sanctions faced by the Russians during the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.
Arriving later this week on April 6 is Double Fine's Iron Brigade. In this Tower Defense shooter, players join the Mobile Trench Brigade to protect humanity from the evil Monovision menace.
Coming to Game Pass on April 13 as part of EA Play is NHL 23 for Xbox players. On April 18, Minecraft Legends become available on Game Pass for Cloud, Xbox, and PC.
Aside from joining the Game Pass library, there are also various titles leaving the service soon. We've included this list below:
There are also plenty of new DCLs and updates available this month as part of Game Pass. Be sure to check out the full post on the Xbox Wire.
