Starting today, Xbox Series X|S-based fans can finally jump into to the eerie world of Ghostwire: Tokyo. Be it via full purchase or Game Pass, those interested will likely be getting the game at the best time possible since Tango Gameworks has also just launched the new, “Spiders Thread” update for all platforms.
While Ghostwire: Tokyo was already a competent game, the Spider’s Thread update’s additions will no doubt be appreciated by both new and returning players. Upon getting the game fully updated, players will have new areas to explore, powers to play around with, enemies to fight, side missions to complete and new photo mode options to better document it all. They also be able to enjoy extended story cinematics.
On top of all of this, the Spider’s Thread adds a new rogue-lite mode to the game which challenges players to fight their way up floor by floor until they just can’t fight anymore. For those looking to put Ghostwire: Tokyo’s mechanics through their paces, this will likely be the update’s highlight.
Ghostwire: Tokyo is available now on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
