Resident Evil 4 remake could be set to introduce the original’s Separate Ways content as DLC, datamines of the newly released game have suggested.
The content, which wasn’t included in the initial GameCube release but was later incorporated into other versions of the game, stars Ada Wong and provides a new perspective on the events of Resident Evil 4.
Following the remake’s release last week, datamainers claim to have uncovered references to “The Another Order” (the Japanese name for Separate Ways) in the game files.

Earlier this month, reputable insider Dusk Golem also claimed that Separate Ways would be coming down the line as DLC. “It’ll be longer and more fleshed out than the original Separate Ways,” they said.
Resident Evil 4 remake hit PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam last Friday.
The game has enjoyed the series’ largest Steam launch ever by some margin, having attracted over 168,000 concurrent players.
