Fans of the original Resident Evil 4 may be pleased to learn that datamined evidence points to the return of a fan-favorite story mode coming to the recently-released remake. While Resident Evil 4 has already been well-received, fans of the series lamented the lack of certain modes in the game. However, it seems that Capcom may amend the issue over time.
Currently, the Resident Evil 4 remake is missing a few things and modes that were available in the original release. For example, the timed combat mode, The Mercenaries, isn't available to play, nor are Ada Wong's side campaigns, Separate Ways and Assignment: Ada. Capcom has already revealed that The Mercenaries will be added to Resident Evil 4 in the near future, but has remained quiet about Ada's story modes.

Now, datamined information has come to light that strongly suggests that Ada Wong's Separate Ways campaign is in the works. Data miner Gosetsu shared the information with the web, revealing that they had discovered a series of folders in the PC version of the files. These folders include «Chainsaw,» «Mercenaries,» and «Another Order.» «Chainsaw» likely refers to the demo of the same name that was released prior to the game's launch, and Mercenaries is quite obvious. However, Another Order is what points to Ada's campaign.
For those who may not have been aware, the Separate Ways campaign from Capcom's 2005 Resident Evil 4 was originally titled «The Another Order.» While there's a slim chance that the folder may be left in the game's files following a cancelation of the mode, it's fairly unlikely.
