NZXT is looking to improve cooling solutions with new AIO coolers and a new flow case. The latest Kraken X-3 and Z-3 series coolers will up the ante with improvements to design and a deeper implementation with its CAM software. NZXT is going with a new naming convention for the cooler lines as it shifts to simply being called the Kraken and the higher-tier coolers being called the Kraken Elite. The Kraken Elite offers a 2.36″ LCD screen that offers a higher resolution than what was seen in the Z-3 along with a better frame rate, viewing angle, and higher color accuracy. This means more flash and substance within the latest seventh generation Asetek pump. The F Series Fans included on the radiator options will provide High Static Pressure to optimize air flow for excellent heat dissipation. There is also the choice for the F Series Core RGB fans as these can cool the latest Intel and AMD CPUs on the market.
The radiator selections for the Kraken series includes 240mm, 280mm and 360mm sizes. The screen on the pumps can display data via the NZXT CAM software as this includes static pictures and animated gifs. The installation has been streamlined as only one breakout cable is needed along with reinforced tubes for better durability. A dual infographic visual option has been added for the display along with a carousel mode for displaying system data. GIPHY is officially implemented into the system as users can select from a wide variety of gifs. Google Photos and Spotify are now available to source thanks to the web integration of the CAM software.
Improvements made to the architecture of the pump also include a Fluid Dynamic Bearing for smooth and quiet operation that is meant to last for long durations and nylon-braided
