New MMORPG 'Chrono Odyssey' Gameplay Revealed - Hardcore Gamer
There has been a serious resurgence of the MMORPGs as of late. While the genre is far from dead, the golden years have long since past us. Thankfully, with compelling experience such as Final Fantasy XIV, Lost Ark and even Black Desert Online that have only been getting better over time, there’s a surprisingly high demand for these bustling games. Even looking into the future, there’s Ashes of Creation, Throne and Liberty, and Blue Protocol to look forward to.
Now we have another to add to the growing list, and this one has incredible potential. While it was teased a couple of weeks ago, Korean developer Npixel has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming MMO, showcasing what you can expect from gameplay, and it’s nothing short of spectacular. Since the developer is utilizing Unreal Engine 5, visually the game looks breathtaking. It looks like a AAA action game but tied all together with cooperative elements to make the world feel alive.
You’re able to choose between various different classes, such as Swordsman, Paladin, Berserker, Sorcerer, Ranger and Assassin. A big part of the game, as you might imagine based on the name, is time, as you’ll be able to manipulate and even stop time in various situations.
Chrono Odyssey will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Unfortunately no release window has been revealed.
