While few, if any, will ever weep for Rockstar Games, having to deliver a follow-up to something as monumental as Grand Theft Auto V has to be among the most daunting tasks in all of modern game development. CEO Strauss Zelnick apparently knows this and is shooting for the moon anyways, stating that Rockstar Games is «seeking perfection» while developing Grand Theft Auto 6.
Zelnick made the comment in a recent interview on The Aarthi and Sriram Show (thanks, TweakTown). It's kind of a CEO's job to talk up an upcoming product, so take that particular quote with a grain of salt, but its nice to see such confidence.
GTA 6 could be out on PS5 as early as next year, so we likely won't have too much longer to wait to see some real gameplay. Despite the catastrophic leak last year, parent company Take-Two has gone on record stating it won't have an effect on development.
