The newly announced Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 will include the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2.
When the collection was announced on Wednesday, Konami said it would include the first three Metal Gear Solid games, but also teased that fans should “stay tuned for more information” on the list of included titles.
Also set to be included in the package are Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, according to a PlayStation Store listing spotted by Eurogamer.

That means the collection will include:
“This collection includes the classic versions of the games, complete with minimal edits to copyrighted contents,” according to the product listing.
The Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 will be released this fall / autumn.
Coinciding with the collection’s announcement, Konami officially revealed a Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, which it’s co-developing with Virtuos.
“We are remaking Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, one of the most beloved instalments of the Metal Gear series, revealing the origin story of Snake, as Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater,” read a message from the game’s development team.
“We are working hard for Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater to be a faithful recreation of the original story and game design, while evolving the gameplay with stunning visuals and a seamless user experience.”
